Sat 12 May 10-14 STORAGE SALE at the NIKARI workshop in Fiskars

The Fiskars Village will be full of action on Sat 12 May with many openings and interesting sales. Also Nikari organises a storage sale for prototypes and model pieces at 10-14. Some of the goods on show might even be free of charge so it is worth a while to come to visit us right in the morning!

Sat 31 March at 15:30 Exhibition by Rudi Merz and Kari Virtanen in Kantti

Rudi Merz and Kari Virtanen will be present in the Kantti gallery along the Fiskars Village main road on Sat 31 March at 15:30 to talk about the products on show. At the same time you can meet architecture student, cabinet maker Mikko Merz, who will represent his Aalto University Master's Thesis research, exhibited at the Kantti gallery as well. The thesis investigates possibilities to place a modern, wooden service building into the heart of the historical Fiskars Village milieu. Welcome!
 

Exhibitions in Fiskars Village

Nikari cabinet makers Rudi Merz, Matti Söderkultalahti and Kari Virtanen participate in the Fiskars Design Village 2012 exhibition ”VISIO” at the Copper Smithy 5 Feb 2012 – 6 Jan 2013. The exhibition is part of the Fiskars Design Village 2012 programme (a satellite of the WorldDesignCapitalHelsinki2012). Opening times of the Copper Smithy: 5 Feb – 12 May 2012 and 2 Oct 2012 – 6 Jan 2013: Tue – Sun 12 – 17, 13 May – 30 Sep 2012: daily 11 - 18.

The Fiskars Village Kantti exhibition celebrates the Fiskars Design Village 2012 year by concentrating especially on the designers, artists and craftsmen of the Co-operative. Rudi Merz and Kari Virtanen are exhibiting from February until April with products created together - or with separate works of art. All the products on show are part of the Nikari collection.
