Nikari at the Housing Fair Finland

Nikari at the Housing Fair Finland

The Housing Fair in Lohja is located in Hiidensalmi, by the shore of Lake Lohjanjärvi, only a few kilometers from Nikari’s workshop in Fiskars. The themes for this year’s fair are sustainability, easy everyday living and overall well-being, especially among the beautiful, lush nature. Nikari’s products are now on display in a variety of houses, across several locations, set in the beautiful landscapes of Lake Lohjanjärvi.

Where to see us

Nikari’s furniture can, for example, be seen in Villa Lippa, a CLT house designed specifically as a summer house, as well as the Fiksu building by Ainoakoti, which features natural materials and earthy tones in its interior design. Nikari’s products have also been used to decorate Kastelli’s two sites, Veistos and Plaza, where the connection with nature is strongly present, combining modern lines, lightness and an impeccable sense of space. Interior designer Sanna Siik-Keskisarja has taken into account modern needs and, above all, local production — the majority of furniture, art and ecological materials are made by Finnish artists and companies.

In this serene lakeside setting, the feeling of hurry disappears, and life slows down so that one can really enjoy the calm, leisurely moments in life.
