The Detalji bench embodies the ongoing working relationship between Nikari and Woodnotes. The result of the collaboration is an oak-framed bench built with carpentry joints, with a seat upholstered with ”Woodpecker” paper yarn fabric designed by Ritva Puotila in the 1990s. The light and durable bench is suitable for both public spaces and homes. Oak and paper yarn are intertwined in perfect balance and harmony.
At the stand, one can find Nikari’s latest creations, including the Detalji bench, the Frame table and the Akademia Armrest chair.
Designed by the English architect and designer John Pawson, the steady essence of Frame table is a result of its clean linearity and the immaculate balance of form. Pawson’s design values — peace and quietness — materialise in the table as soulful minimalism. The table is available in two sizes and in two wood types, oak and ash.
Originally launched in 2019, the Akademia chair family grew this year with the addition of an armrest version. Designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela, the chair is silently beautiful and effortlessly fits into a wide variety of spaces. The armrests of the new version bring even more comfort for sitting.
